IACC
The Iranian American Community Center (IACC), based in Central Florida, is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering unity, preserving cultural heritage, and empowering the Iranian-American community. Established on September 28, 2005, IACC was originally founded as the Iranian American Chamber of Commerce by Founding Visionaries Mr. Hossein Albekord, Mr. Mohsen Balouchian, Mr. Ali Shahnavaz, and Mr. Ben Zaire. On October 17, 2011, the organization adopted its current name to reflect its expanded mission of supporting both business and cultural connections within the community.

IACC’s mission is to create a welcoming space that strengthens cultural identity, promotes solidarity, and supports the success of Iranian-Americans across generations. By preserving Persian heritage, celebrating cultural traditions, and encouraging meaningful community involvement, IACC empowers individuals to thrive and contribute positively to the broader American society.

Cultural Celebrations: IACC organizes traditional Persian events, including Norouz (Persian New Year), Sizdah Be-Dar (outdoor spring festival), Mehregan (autumn harvest), Yalda Night (winter solstice), and Chaharshanbeh Suri (festival of fire). These celebrations foster cultural pride and provide a platform for sharing Iranian heritage with the broader community, creating a sense of connection and belonging.
Patogh Gatherings: Held monthly, Patogh offers a casual setting for community members to connect, enjoy games like chess and backgammon, and participate in music, dance, and karaoke. These gatherings encourage community bonding and provide a relaxed environment for meaningful connections.
Educational Programs: IACC offers language and cultural education to help younger generations learn Farsi, understand Persian literature, and connect with their heritage. These programs ensure that Iranian culture and traditions remain vibrant and accessible for future generations.
Scholarship Program: Committed to supporting young Iranian-Americans, IACC provides scholarships for undergraduate students of Iranian descent who are enrolled full-time at nationally accredited Florida institutions.
